In the late sixties the Miesien box combined
with the Corbusian brise soleil to produce some highly original and "funky"
articulated facades. A decorative reaction against the minimalist strictures of Internationalism and in a way the last gasp of the International Style. All about the facade (with some Post-war Futurist and Brutalist overtones at times). |
